The Motor Speedway of the South set
The Speedway Of The South 36 piece set was sold through the Hot Wheels Red Line Club on May 20th 2008. You had to have an American address to be able to buy it and the set was limited to 1,000 pieces. The original advert said that the sets were individually numbered but when they started arriving it became apparent that the sets were not numbered at all but Mattel have stated that there really are only 1,000 sets and are seeking a resolution to the non-numbering issue.
